It’s August, that means tis the month of Artemis on her yearly Scottish tour. Obviously an event I can’t let pass by without a shoot. This time I thought we’d shoot near my house, there is a very quiet wood nearby, a disused quarry no less……covered in vines and greenery, Afterwards we walked over to another location by the river, an old harbour where they used to load the stone work onto ships.
Then a fair trip up to Lunan Bay, where we would meet another photographer that had booked Artemis. We had an hour or so before the next photographer showed up. It was good trek along a sandy coast to the end of the beach where it ended at a cliff with a twin entrance cave…..I love a good cave!
Firstly images in the woods for a soft ethereal look…

And for some nude work in the vines……

Moving on to an old harbour….for some portrait and figure work

Then a trip to Lunan Bay……caves, rocks and pools…….

Then a quick change of outfit……

At this point the other photographer appeared and it was a fond farewell to Artemis, a rather productive shoot all in all. And a rather long trudge back to the car in the sand and beating sunshine, during which I got my head burnt….lol. Still, it was a good fun day out with lots of cracking images to edit and finalise. If you haven’t work with Artemis Fauna before then you are missing out on a lovely experience, she is friendly, professional and very experienced. Get in touch, book a shoot, you wont regret it.
