Everly Rose at Glenturret

An email appear on Purple Port one day, from Everly Rose. Would I like to shoot with her, after an online discussion she said she liked my previous images from Glenturret. I thought well I haven’t been there for a while (years) so let’s go for it. It was warm June day, albeit cloudy….. adds to atmos I find. So I met her at a nearby hotel and off we toddled, chatting as we went, it’s an hours drive in the holiday season. The plan was to shoot on location then head to Glenturret distillery for lunch, then back for an hour in a mock up studio.

On location at Loch Turret….on the pier…

Further up the loch……

Then off to Glenturret distillery for a bite to eat, it used to be a fantastic restaurant, sadly it’s gone downhill a lot….poor fare, I got a very hard overcooked sausage roll however Everly got a lovely baguette. No longer an eatery I could recommend and return to. We headed into the whisky shop, cuz like ….why not ogle at £50,000 bottle of whisky, then stare at disbelief at the £70,000 bottle.

Heading of to studio land…..actually my parents old house which I made up into a studio.

Window lighting…..

And so another shoot comes to close, it was a lovely day out with lovely company. Everly Rose returns to Scotland on regular basis, if you fancy a shoot then give her a shout!.
